This is a site devoted to digital photographs of my collection of cactus plants - or rather the flowers thereof. I have been growing cacti for many years having first, like so many others, become interested in these fascinating subjects by an initial purchase from Woolworth's. Many of the sorts featured have been grown from seed provided by the British Cactus and Succulent Society through their annual seed distibution, although many more have been obtained from specialist nurseries and other growers. All of the information provided about a particular plant is given in good faith and is to the best of my knowledge correct, but due to the plethora of invalid names and constant debate over the classification of most species I can only apologise in advance for the numerous inaccuracies which no doubt lurk herein! I am not interested in anything but growing, flowering, and photographing my plants, but in the interests of accuracy I will correct any glaring errors you may find if you email them to me. It should be noted that where cultural information is given it is not intended as a guide for other growers - merely as a record of how we grow our plants. Many of our methods are entirely experimental, so try them at your own risk! Please remember the copyright of all pictures belongs to myself and do not electronically copy or post pictures without my written permission.
