Plant raised from seed obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1976.

Flowers approx. 3cm. diameter are produced in early summer and remain open for about three days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a min. temperature of 40 - 45 degrees F. (5 to 7 degrees C.)
