Compact freely offsetting plant from South America.

Plant raised from seed obtained from a specialist supplier in the 1980's. Identity not known.

Flowers approx. 7cm. long, 6cm. diameter are produced in summer and remain open for two (exceptionally three) days.

Kept moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 45 - 50 degrees F.
