Yellowish spined variety of H.setispinus from Mexico and S.Texas, USA.

Plant raised from seed obtained from the BCSS in 1992.

Scented flowers approx. 5cm. long, 6cm. diameter are produced in midsummer and remain open for about three or four days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 45 - 50 degrees F.
