Compact slow growing plant from Mexico, Central America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1987 as a small seedling.

Flowers approx. 3cm. diameter are produced in summer and remain open for about six days.

Kept very slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 40 - 45 degrees F.
