Compact floriferous plant from South America.

Plant or seed obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in the 1990's.

Flowers approx. 5.5cm. diameter are produced in midsummer and remain open for about seven or eight days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 45 - 50 degrees F.
