Plant raised from seed obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1981.

Flowers approx. 4cm. long, 4.5cm. diameter are produced in midsummer and can remain open for fourteen or fifteen days!

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 45 - 50 degrees F.
