Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery as a small seedling in 1980.

Flowers approx. 2.5cm. long, 4cm. diameter are produced in early summer and remain open for about three days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 45 - 50 degrees F.
