Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery as a small seedling in 1978.

Flowers 6cm. long and diameter are produced in early summer and remain open for about five days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temp. of 45 to 50 degrees F. (7 to 10 degrees C.)
