Floriferous plants from Argentina, South America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery as a small seedling in 1980.

Flowers 4.5cm. long, 5cm. diameter when fully open are produced in flushes from late spring onwards and remain open for about five days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a min. temp. of 45 to 50 degrees F. (7 to 10 degrees C.)
