Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery as a small seedling in 1982.

Flowers 3cm long and diameter are produced in flushes from late spring onwards and remain open for up to five days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 40 - 45 degrees F.
