Floriferous epiphytic plant originally from Brazil, South America.

Plant obtained as a cutting from a friend in 1985 and subsequent numerous clones created over the years.

Flowers approx. 4cm. long, 5cm. diameter are produced in spring and remain open for up to nine days.

Kept watered throughout the year at a minimum winter temperature of 45 - 50 degrees F.
