Blackish green skinned plants from Argentina, South America.

Plant raised from seed obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1978. Flowers approx. 6.5cm. long and diameter are produced in spring and remain open for about a week.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 40 - 45 degrees F.
