Compact floriferous plants from Bolivia, South America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1990 as a small seedling. Flowers approx. 2.5cm. long, 3cm. diameter are produced in spring and remain open for about five days.

Kept very slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 40 - 45 degrees F.
