Compact slow growing plant from Mexico, Central America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1981 as a small seedling.

Flowers approx. 2cm. diameter are produced in spring and remain open for two days.

Kept dry in winter at a minimum temperature of 50 - 55 degrees F.
