Floriferous mound forming plant from Argentina, South America.

Plant raised from seed obtained from the NCSS in 1981.

Flowers approx. 5cm. long, 3.5cm. diameter are produced in spring and remain open for about six days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 45 - 50 degrees F.
