Floriferous cushion - forming plants from Bolivia South America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1976 as a small seedling. Flowers approx. 5cm. long, 4cm. diameter are produced in spring and remain open for about five days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 40 - 45 degrees F.
