Compact plants from Peru, South America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1985 as a propagation from a habitat collected plant. Flowers approx. 5cm. long, 4.5cm. diameter are produced in spring and remain open for about four days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 40 - 45 degrees F.
