Compact floriferous plants from Argentina, South America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1979 as a small seedling. Flowers approx. 3.5cm. long, 4cm. diameter are produced in spring and remain open for about three or four days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 45 - 50degrees F.
