Compact floriferous plants from South America.

Obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1987 as a small seedling. Flowers approx. 3.5cm. long, 4.5cm. diameter are produced in spring and remain open for about three days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 40 degrees F.
