Compact plants from Mexico, Central America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1983 as a small seedling. Flowers approx. 1.5cm. long, 2.8cm. diameter are produced in spring and remain open for about three days.

Kept dry in winter at a minimum temperature of 45degrees F.
