Wavy ribbed plants from Mexico, Central America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1978 as a small seedling. Flowers approx. 1.5cm. long and diameter are produced in spring and remain open for about three or four days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 50degrees F.
