Pendant epiphytic plants from Brazil, South America.

Plant obtained as a small seedling from a specialist cactus nursery in 1981. Flowers approx. 1.5cm. long, 3cm. diameter are produced in spring and remain open for about five days.

Kept watered throughout the year at a minimum temperature of 50degrees F. Susceptible to sciarid fly if precautions against this pest are not taken.
