Superb plants from Mexico, Central America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1981 as a small seedling. Flowers approx. 1.5cm. long, 2cm. diameter are produced in early spring, opening and closing each afternoon for about five days.

Kept dry in winter at a minimum temperature of 40 - 45 degrees F.
