Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery as a rooted cutting in 1989.

Flowers approx. 5.5cm. long, 4cm. diameter are produced in early spring and remain open for up to five days, longer in cool conditions.

Kept watered throughout the year at a minimum winter temperature of 50 degrees F. (10 degrees C.)
