Pendant epiphyte from Brazil, South America.

Plant obtained from a friend as an unrooted cutting in 2000.

Flowers approx. 7cm. long 5cm. diameter produced in early winter, remaining open for up to six weeks. A second flush of flowers is produced in late winter.

Kept watered throughout the year at a minimum temperature of 45 to 50 degrees F. and a maximum summer temperature (as far as possible) of 75 degrees F. in the shade.
