Superb plants from Mexico, Central America.

Obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1989 as a small seedling propagated from habitat collected material. Flowers approx. 2cm. diameter are produced in late summer and remain open for about three or four days.

Kept dry in winter at a minimum temperature of 50degrees F. on the top shelf of the greenhouse.
