Compact floriferous plants from Mexico, Central America.

Plant raised from seed obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1983. Flowers approx. 4cm. diameter are produced from midsummer (and into autumn in favourable weather) remaining open for about three to five days.

Kept almost dry in winter at a minimum temperature of 40 - 45degrees F.
