Superb plants from Mexico, Central America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1978 as a small seedling. Flowers approx. 3cm. diameter are produced in midsummer and remain open for about two or three days.

Kept very slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 45 - 50degrees F.
