Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1989 as a small seedling.

Flowers approx. 4cm. diameter are produced in mid to late summer and remain open for three or four days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a min. temperature of 40 to 45 degrees F. (5 to 7 degrees C.)
