Compact opuntias from Argentina, South America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1983 as a small seedling. Flowers approx. 4cm. diameter are produced in midsummer and remain open for about three days.

Kept slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 45 - 50degrees F.
