Floriferous plant from Bolivia, South America.

Raised from seed obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1979.

Flowers approx. 4cm. long and diameter are produced in summer and remain open for up to eight days.

Kept very slightly moist in winter at a minimum temperature of 40 - 45 degrees F.
