Superb floriferous plants from Mexico, Central America.

Plant obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1986 as a small seedling. Flowers approx. 3cm. diameter are produced in midsummer and remain open for two or three days.

Kept dry in winter at a minimum temperature of 40 - 45degrees F. Very intolerant of water early and late in the season.
