Superb pendant cereus from Bolivia, South America.

Plant raised from seed obtained from a specialist cactus nursery in 1978.

Flowers approx. 5cm. diameter are produced in early summer and remain open for about three days.

Kept watered throughout the year at a minimum winter temperature of 45 degrees F.

Original plant discarded in 2001 when it had outgrown its' available space. Cuttings now rooted and growing on.
